Product Description

The Mighty Armory Magnum Case Hold Down Die is precision CNC machined alloy with an anodized finish. The shaft is heat treated and hardened, precision machined high-grade tool steel. 

The modular design of the die will allow you to use the same die for both hold down and decapping operation by simply swapping out the hold down tip for a decapping pin. Add the Mighty Armory Primer Pocket Swage Kit for swaging on a single stage or turret press  

.600 bore diameter. Will hold a case size up to .338 Lapua, or 3 inches.

The hold down die has both a posted cap and primer flicker spring and the swage or priming station will easily find center before it takes full hold of the case.

Instructions

Step 1: Hand turn the tip into the shaft. Put a touch of purple VIBRA-tite 111 on the tip of the barrel shoulder where it meets the shaft. Snug the tip into the shaft with a 3/16 wrench. Do not over tighten, or it may result in a snapped threaded shaft in the main shaft.

Step 2: Drop the shafted tip into the die body. Drop the spring into the cap well.

Step 3: Thread the cap into the cap well. Tighten the cap all the way down snug against the o-ring. Back out the cap 1/4 turn.

Step 4: Place a case under the die. Lower the tool head all the way down, or raise the ram all the way up. Turn the die into the tool head until the mouth contacts the floor of the case.

Step 5: Tighten the locknut to lock it into the toolhead.
