The Mighty Armory GOLD MATCH .223 rem / 5.56 NATO sizing die will size and decap .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO cases. The Gold Match is a Precision Match Series sizing, decapping die that offers full length headspace, concentric sizing to SAAMI spec with just a turn of the die.

Mighty Armory reloading dies for are precision machined to tight tolerances ensuring consistent and uniform sizing and concentricity. Machined from high-grade tools steel, perfect vertical alignment, single point cut finish, and extremely smooth bore at 60 Rockwell hardness. The one-and-done sizing of your .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO brass will be effortless. The 223 sizing die will easily decap and resize over a million cycles. Turn the reloading die into your press, turn the die down or up and easily set shoulder bump from zero to -.005.

The .223 sizing die has a drop-in mandrel shaft, which is Swiss-machined, heat treated to 50 Rockwell, and extremely strong. The threads inside the shaft will accept either a decapping pin or pointer. The pointer is used in place of the decapping pin. It protects the shaft threads and acts as a guide when sizing the case.

The accurate sizing of your Gold Match Rifle reloading dies will help to ensure safety, reliability and accuracy of your ammunition. The .223 rem sizing die has an extended, full length size area that helps to prevent under-sizing or over-sizing at the neck, shoulder and base of the case. This will result in proper case pressure, cleaner burning powder, reliable chambering and extraction, absolute accuracy, and your brass will last longer for more reloads.  

The .223 / 5.56 sizing die offers full length sizing. Full length sizing is recommended for all rifle cases. Neck sizing can lead to overexpanded cases and reduce reloading times as it weakens the brass. A hard, smooth sizing surface that is consistent in sizing, especially head-spacing is of the utmost importance.

    Instructions

    Click Link to Rifle Sizing Die Instructions

    Step 1: Clean the die bore before use. First with alcohol on a q-tip or paper towel. Then dry with a q-tip or paper towel.

    Step 2: If sizing on a single stage or turret press, lube cases with imperial wax. If sizing on an autoprogressive press, use 6oz 91% alcohol and 1oz PEG75 lanolin. Spray cases, mix and let dry for 30 minutes.

    Step 3: Turn the die into your press tool head until the mouth makes contact with your plate or shell holder. If you want to lengthen your headspace back the die out.

    Step 4: Size a case and check your headspace length. If you want it deeper then turn the die down slightly and size the case.

    Step 5: Once you find the sweet spot and you achieve the desired headspace for your chamber then lock the die into place.
