Product Description

The Mighty Armory XMS Decapping die is precision machined from 100% steel inside and out. The steel is hardened for added strength and the die body has a black oxide finish. The toughness of this die is for use on high volume, auto drive presses. The XMS will withstand anything you can throw at it without failure. Built tough, built to last.

The XM Series Decapping dies features a spring loaded decapping system and a case guide to center the case keeping it perfectly vertical in your shell plate. The case guide will grab and centers brass at speed. 

The case guide is newly designed to accommodate case sizes from .380 up to .308 length.

The spring loaded primer flicker feature prevents primer pullback, press chute jams and ringers.

Toughest in the industry and will easily decap any boxer primed crimped military case. Tool-free assembly, trouble-free, and ultra tough!

What's Included

  • Two M2 decapping pins: One (1) at .078 diameter for standard brass and one (1) at .058 diameter for small flash hole sizes. 65 Rockwell. Toughest in the industry!

Instructions

Step 1: Disassemble the die. Clean with rubbing alcohol to degrease all parts of the die.

Step 2: Add a touch of purple vibra-tite #111 or blue loctite between the shoulder of the shaft and pin. Snug it with a 3/16 wrench. Do not over tighten or it may result in a snapped threaded shaft in the main shaft.

Step 3: Drop the case guide into the die body. Drop the shaft through the threaded insert and slide the long spring over the shaft. Turn into the die and hand tighten.

Step 4: Hand tighten the cap and spring onto the die.

Step 5: Turn the die into the press station. When the die contacts the shell plate, back it out 1/4 turn.

Step 6: Lock the die down into place with the locknut provided. You should hear the sound of the snap when depriming, which is the primer flicker spring flicking the primer out of the flash hole!
