Product Description

The Mighty Armory XMA Decapping Die is a universal, spring-operated decapping die designed for use on lever reloading presses like Dillon 650, Dillon 1100, and Frankford Arsenal X-10 and similar. This die is also compatible with single stage and turret presses.

Machined from 7075 alloy with a black hardened anodized finish at 60 Rockwell hardness for durability and reliable performance.

The XMA Die features an advanced spring-operated decapping mechanism that flicks the primer out and into the press funnel by allowing for upward pin movement before a stop and decap. The design will eliminate any primer pullback issues and will prevent primer ringers.

The XMA Decapping Die includes a spring and universal steel case guide to ensure precise case centering. The case guide grabs and aligns brass quickly and accurately at speed. The shaft spring applies additional pressure to center the cases tightly.

The case guide is redesigned to fit case sizes from .380 up to .308 case length.

    What's Included

    • 2 Steel Decapping Pins (1 at .058 diameter and 1 at .078 standard diameter).

    Instructions

    Click for the XM Decapping Die Instructions Link

    Step 1: Disassemble the die.

    Step 2: Add a touch of purple vibra-tite #111 or blue loctite between the shoulder of the shaft and pin. Snug it with a 3/16 wrench. Do not over tighten or it may result in a snapped threaded shaft in the main shaft.

    Step 3: Drop the case guide into the die body. Drop the shaft through the threaded insert and slide the long spring over the shaft. Turn into the die and hand tighten.

    Step 4: Hand tighten the cap and spring onto the die.

    Step 5: Turn the die into the press station. When the die contacts the shell plate, back it out 1/4 turn.

    Step 6: lock the die down into place with the locknut provided.
